Michael Hochberg is an associate in our litigation department. Michael has extensive litigation experience in connection with commercial disputes before all levels of courts in Ontario, as well as at private arbitration. Michael’s practice includes contractual disputes, debtor/creditor disputes and disputes involving company law and commercial leasing and commercial real estate law.
Michael was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2009. Prior to Joining Daoust Vukovich, Michael gained valuable hands-on experience working at a large national firm in Toronto, as well as at a boutique firm.
Michael graduated from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management, with an M.B.A. in 2019, and from the Faculty of Law, with an LL.M. in 2010. Before that, he graduated from the University of Windsor with a combined J.D./LL.B. in 2008 having clerked for the Honourable Judge Julian Abele Cook Jr., of the US Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Prior to attending law school, Michael completed his B.A. at Western University where he studied English and History.
Michael is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Ontario and Canadian Bar Associations, as well as The Advocates’ Society.
