Robbie Moses (City)

Robbie is an associate in the firm’s commercial leasing department. Robbie advises major landlords, tenants and operators of dynamic real estate portfolios on all aspects of commercial leasing transactions. Robbie’s practice focuses on drafting complex commercial leases, amendments of leases, renewals, extensions and ancillary contracts and documentation for mixed asset classes including office, industrial and retail properties. Robbie’s work on commercial lease transactions ranges from strategic planning advice to legal and business risk analysis, and the negotiation and drafting of definitive agreements. Robbie also regularly negotiates with major Canadian telecommunications providers to successfully finalize telecommunications agreements on behalf of landlords and tenants.

Robbie takes a practical, business savvy approach to problem solving, and partners with his clients to equip them with the knowledge base to comfortably proceed with transactions, advance their interests and navigate emergent regulatory matters.

Prior to joining Daoust Vukovich LLP, Robbie worked as the in-house lawyer for a commercial landlord based out of the National Capital Region where he focused on commercial leasing transactions and advising senior executives on a host of real estate law matters. In that role, Robbie also worked as a licensed commercial real estate broker and leverages his experience in this regard to anticipate and address clients’ needs to respond to market trends in the real estate industry.

Robbie holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University where he was awarded several course prizes including the David Sabbath Prize for highest standing in Property Law. Robbie was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2014.
