COVID-19 Update #3

Apr 13, 2020

We are writing to say “hi,” and to let you know that we’re thinking of you. We just want to make a connection.

The pandemic crisis has been enormously challenging.  Day-to-day life has been uprooted and we’ve all had to change the way we do business to physically distance ourselves and keep each other safe.

And yet, we are still working together.  For that, we are grateful.

Although our office workplace remains open (as it is considered “essential”), it has been scaled down to a minimal level while the vast majority of us work at home.  Everyone at Daoust Vukovich is doing their part to flatten the curve.

Working remotely makes us appreciate how important it is to keep in touch.  Relationships are sustaining; we never want to lose the human connection.  Our team is continually connecting with each other and working cooperatively, while following the rules to stay safe and well.

Of course, you are encountering the same challenges.  It’s a lot to handle.  But we must all do what we can in the fight against COVID-19.

If you wish to contact any member of our team, please rest assured that we are available by all the modern methods.  We understand the importance of being nimble and accessible and we continue to adapt our practices as necessary.

We are very proud of the dedication and high standards of our Daoust Vukovich team.  Every one of us has rallied to the cause of the greater good, and we are doing our best to stay positive.  We will continue to be responsive to your business needs and provide the same high quality of service that you have come to expect from us.

This extraordinary test of our resilience calls for vigilance, cooperation and flexibility, so that in the not-too-distant future, we can all see each other again, healthy and poised to resume our regular lives and businesses.

We hope you stay in touch.  Most importantly, we hope you keep well.

The Daoust Vukovich LLP Award

Jul 10, 2020

We are living in extraordinary times. While the outbreak of COVID-19 has been a demanding presence, we have also seen new and necessary attention to anti-Black racism and the barriers faced by Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities. At Daoust Vukovich LLP, we are committed to social justice and are taking action against systemic racism within the Canadian legal profession. Recognizing that racism has prevented valued members of Canadian society from obtaining a formal legal education, DV has created a new award at Ryerson's Faculty of Law...
