Tenant's contractors and their subcontractors are entitled to register a construction lien against a tenant's leasehold interest, if they are not paid. Unfortunately, the leasehold interest of a tenant who is not paying its bills has little value. For this reason tenants' contractors frequently register construction liens against the landlords' interest in the property. Do tenants' contractors have the right to register a construction lien against the landlord's interest?
