Policies implemented by the Canadian Radio-Television Telecommunication Commission (the "CRTC") and in particular, Decision 99-10 have opened up competition in the telecommunications industry. This has created a new series of business connections and opportunities that have built into a tidal wave of activity through the risers and communication pathways situated in buildings. Competition is fierce and relentless.
